Important Information to Consider Before Booking:
Are Nordic poles essential? This is first & foremost, a week of Nordic walking activity. Urban Poles or other Nordic walking poles are strongly recommended, given the many steps, significant elevation changes, cobblestone streets and paved surfaces. The week will start with a group Urban Poling Clinic, with one-on-one instruction available as needed. Hiking poles are unsuitable for this terrain and strongly advised against. Please do not bring hiking poles without fitted rubber tips as the noise they make will affect the enjoyment of others If you would like to purchase a pair of Urban Poles, please email Mandy who will arrange for a pair to be shipped to you ahead of the tour departure, at 30% off retail rates. You are welcome to walk without poles, but note they are advised by the tour operator.
Who is the tour operator? We are using global travel adventure experts, with over 43 years of experience, Exodus Travels. Please read all the essential information about this trip, including the trip notes, essential information, and booking conditions before booking this tour through Jenni Evans at Vision Travel. You will find the above information covers if this tour is for you, the detailed tour itinerary, information about the Hotel Due Torri in Agerola, food, additional activities, weather, what to bring and much more.
How should I go about booking flights? It is important to not book your flights until we have confirmed we have the required minimum for this group booking. Although you are welcome to make your own flight bookings, I recommend Jenni so that we can carefully coordinate arrival times and transfers to the hotel in Agerola, as there will be one group transfer from the airport in Naples to the hotel on arrival and departure included in the cost of the tour. Jenni has lots of experience with booking adventure travel tours and Jenni can advise on and provide the required travel insurance.
What is Mandy's role on the tour? Mandy is serving as the host for this trip, pulling together a group of Nordic walking enthusiasts, serving as liaison with the tour operator, and providing Nordic walking instruction along with an evening talk. Local guides will be leading the walks and responsible for your safety and enjoyment of the tour.
