Active by Nature offers guided walks ranging from 1.5 hours to 2 hours exploring scenic areas of Canmore. There will be a quick review of Nordic walking technique but the focus of these sessions will be having a great total body workout while maintaining a steady walking pace. There will be ample time to admire and appreciate the stunning surroundings, snap a photo or two, learn about Canmore and all it has to offer and enjoy conversation with participants.
What to wear & bring:
- Wear a T-shirt & tights/hiking or athletic pants. Be sure to bring a warm extra layer & rain jacket, just in case.
- Running shoes are fine while light trail or hiking shoes provide even more support and are ideal. Please no flip-flops or sandals.
- Leave purses behind at home. A small backpack is a great bring-along!
- Bring water, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, insect repellant and don't forget your camera!
